How can we help

If you plan on hiring a foreigner, we will advise you on what the possibilities are and help you prepare the documents required to obtain work/residence permits, which will allow your employee to work and live in Lithuania.

  • We will assess the prospects of your candidate to obtain a work permit allowing them work or live in Lithuania, and advise you on what grounds to apply in order to obtain this permit.
  • We will prepare and file all the required documents with a public employment service or migration authority.
  • We will help you obtain a Lithuanian work permit (we represent our clients for the duration of the entire process).
  • We will prepare the documents necessary to get a work visa (Category D visa for 360 days).

Process

  1. The employee produces documents supporting their qualifications and work experience.
  2. If needed, we arrange for the employee’s documents to be legalised, translated and certified by a notary public.
  3. We place a job add on the public employment service’s website.
  4. We prepare and file the required documents with a public employment service.
  5. The public employment service issues a work permit.
  6. We prepare all documents required to get a work visa.
  7. If you are hiring a highly skilled employee, we may offer you alternative solutions.
